Press kit
Everything you need to write about Beauts. Email press@beauts.app if anything is missing or you need something specific.
One-liner
Beauts is a Mac app that finds the best photo from each group of near-identical shots. Local, private, no cloud, £4.99 one-time.
One paragraph
Most people take ten or twenty nearly-identical shots of every moment — the same face, same background, slightly different blink. Beauts scans a folder of photos, groups the ones that are basically the same shot, and copies the best one from each group to a new folder. It picks the sharpest, with eyes open, looking at the camera. Your originals stay untouched. Everything runs on the user's Mac — no account, no cloud, no subscription. £4.99, one-time payment. Built by a solo UK developer.

Talking points
- For everyone, not photographers. The people who need Beauts most are the ones who took 8,000 holiday photos on their iPhone and have never heard of Lightroom.
- Private by design. The app runs entirely on-device. The privacy claim is verifiable — run Little Snitch and watch the network. Nothing leaves.
- Pay once. No subscription in a market that's gone subscription-everything. You pay £4.99, you own it.
- It picks the good one. It looks for the sharpest shot with eyes open and the subject looking at the camera — the one you'd have picked yourself if you had the time.
- Solo dev, UK. One person building, supporting, and responding to every support email.
